Order Clay’s CD

Clay Adams with recorderBlack Man Clay doesn’t just play music. He oozes music. Anyone who wonders what that means need only hear the bells tinkle from his bag as he jaunts down the street or see the flutes he toots through his nostrils. Yes, he toots flutes through his nostrils. The 79-year-old Vietnam veteran, born Clarence Adams and known as Black Man Clay (after the name came to him in a dream) also wins awards.

The Black Man Clay Show, won 2008’s Hometown Video Award from the Alliance for Community Media. This award is the equivalent of the Emmy for public access channels. Clay also received the huge honor of being inducted into the Tucson Musician’s Museum in 2012.

Clay put out his first CD “Tripping Through the Universe” at the age of 69.  Here is the title song.  Watch and have fun!
